Darion Pohl
Director and Senior AdviserAs well as having been the Director of Prism Xpat for close to 10 years and with 25 years' experience working across the UK, Australia and New Zealand, Darion is regarded by many as the top expert in dealing with international pension issues for emigrants from the UK to Australia and New Zealand. A Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in both the UK and Australia, Darion has personally assisted many thousands of people to benefit from UK-international pension strategies and transfers. Darion’s blend of qualifications, experience and know-how is unmatched in this part of the market and is used to create significant added value for his local and international clientele. Outside work, Darion enjoys running, music and spending time with his family.
Steve Whyburd
International Financial ConsultantBased in London, but originating from South Africa, Steve has over 25 years' experience working across the UK and Offshore jurisdictions in the areas of pensions and wealth management. Steve specialises in offering compliant financial solutions to both UK nationals and emigrants, including our high net worth clients and has developed an expertise in dealing with emigrants to Australia. Prior to joining Prism Xpat, Steve worked with well known multi-nationals including La Mondiale (French), AMP NPI (Australian) and Canada Life.
Katherine Lett
UK Operations DirectorKatherine joined Prism Xpat in 2018 as UK Operations Director. Prior to joining us, Katherine has worked in senior management for a number of companies including Friends Life and Prudential, across Retail, Wealth and Corporate markets and brings over 30 years' pensions experience covering both sales and operations. With a real passion for customers, Katherine has had success developing operational excellence, leading new initiatives and improving customer outcomes. In her spare time Katherine likes to spend time with friends and family, dabble at cake decorating, and enjoys traveling abroad.
Vikki Barrowcliff
Office ManagerVikki looks after the office to help ensure that this runs as smoothly as possible, so Prism Xpat can generate the best possible results for its clients. Prior to joining us, Vikki has worked as an Office Manager, Team Support Officer and Teacher. Vikki has travelled extensively, including to Australia and New Zealand, and in her spare time volunteers for an international charity, and enjoys dancing and playing netball.
Catherine Harford
Accounts ManagerCatherine is a qualified accountant and has worked closely with Prism Xpat for over 10 years handling the financial side of the day to day running of the business. Catherine’s main interests when not at work or preparing tax returns are looking after her son and camping.

Juliet Connolly
Juliet is a specialist in international tax, with a focus on UK expatriates. Based in Melbourne and having emigrated herself, Juliet understands her clients well. Having worked with KPMG in the UK, Juliet has also worked closely with the Prism Xpat team for over 10 years. Juliet is a reliable fountain of knowledge when it comes to dealing with UK tax returns and UK based property questions.
Andy Briggs
Andy is an international tax specialist who delivers solutions-focused strategic taxation advice to large, complex multi-national and privately owned organisations, as well as high net worth individuals. Having worked with PWC in the UK for over 15 years, and then Deloittes, Andy is well placed to deal with the more complex taxation queries a UK expatriate may face.
Richard Knight
Richard is Prism Xpat’s main New Zealand based affiliate. With prior experience gained from having worked at Goldman Sachs and having undertaken numerous international pension transfers between the UK and New Zealand, Richard and his team work closely with Prism Xpat to ensure that any NZ bound client is properly looked after.
