Prism Xpat prides itself on the strength of its team. We have the ability to handle any cross border financial or pensions issue which may arise across the UK, Australia or NZ in a professional and friendly manner.

Darion Pohl – A dual Australian/UK citizen, Darion has spent his whole life living and working across the UK, Australia and NZ.  Like Jim, Darion holds the prestigious Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries qualification (in both the UK and Australia). Darion has also qualified as an Independent Financial Adviser in the UK and Australia, and is a UK pension transfer specialist. Since his financial career commenced in 1990, Darion has also worked for Goldman Sachs, Deloittes, and William Mercer amongst others. Married to a UK national and having moved to live between the UK and Australia 4 times, Darion has a cross border financial insight which is unmatched in this industry. This allows him to create significant value both financially and culturally to any emigrant pre or post emigration.  Darion’s personal interests include travel, sport, bushwalks and playing the guitar.

Tracie Browne – With over 10 years experience in client facing and administrative roles, Tracie is a key member of Prism Xpat’s administration team. Working mainly as an office co-ordinator, handling HR and being a central point of contact for Prism Xpat’s international advisors in Australia and NZ, Tracie always undertakes her work thoroughly and with a professional approach.  In her spare time, Tracie is a cheerleading coach – with 130 up and coming cheerleaders under her wing.

Jenny Hetherington – As well as performing some administrative tasks, Jenny is the link between Prism Xpat’s new client team and the technical/administrative workcentre. Having close to 30 years experience in accounts, customer service and administration, Jenny goes out on a limb to do whatever she can to assist with prospective or active clients’ queries in the most friendly and supportive way possible. Jenny’s outside interests include the gym, gardening and walks through the countryside.

Julie Lane – Julie forms part of Prism Xpat’s administration team, dealing with UK pension schemes on a day to day basis. Having over 10 years experience in office administration and customer services, Julie is involved in many aspects of our administration, from dealing with customer enquiries and dispatch of information packs to chasing UK pension schemes on a regular basis to ensure that client’s work is completed as promptly as possible.

Simon Neville – With almost 20 years' experience in financial services, Simon joined Prism Xpat as a financial adviser in 2006, having a background with Lloyds TSB bank, and Sedgwick Consultants in the UK. Having a close association with Australia and New Zealand through his love of travel, Simon understands the issues faced by emigrants downunder, and is well trained in the Australian and NZ financial systems – covering the full range of complex financial issues on the move. In his spare time, Simon can usually be found travelling, watching sport (usually cricket), or following current affairs.

Tony Powell – Qualified as a UK financial adviser and having close to 20 years' experience with some of the world’s largest insurance and pension companies (including Towers Perrin)  – as well as having a broad spectrum of knowledge across the UK/ Australian and NZ  financial spheres, Tony is very well placed to provide advice to emigrants from the UK –covering issues from UK pension cases to more in-depth financial issues on the move.  Outside of work, Tony is a guitarist who enjoys reading history and teeing off on a golf course.

Adam Roderick – With a background in customer services, Adam is a Kiwi who has made the move to London from New Zealand, joining Prism Xpat in 2006. Since graduating with a Diploma in Business Studies and Marketing, Adam’s experience in finance has included working with Westpac and Bank of New Zealand. Adam is now involved in business development with Prism Xpat.  Outside of work, Adam is a keen guitarist who enjoys travelling.

 

Damien Watson – Since graduating from university and having undertaken the UK’s financial planning qualification, Damien has spent many years working in the UK pensions industry, with experience being gained with Hazell Carr (on the pension mis-selling review) prior to joining Prism Xpat in 2005. Damien is now a senior member of Prism Xpat’s technical and administration teams, who has dealt with many hundreds of UK pension schemes. Having moved between Australia and the UK himself, Damien has a good understanding of the issues faced by UK emigrants - which adds an extra layer of perspective to the work he undertakes. Outside of work, Damien’s interests are sport (particularly rugby union and cricket), travel and reading.

Jenny White – With a background in law, area management, administration and customer service, Jen brings an extra element of professionalism to Prism Xpat’s technical and administrative team.  Since joining Prism Xpat around 2 years ago, Jen has dealt with hundreds of pension schemes and is proficient in dealing with even the most complex administrative issues for clients.
